Why not?? McLean repeatedly mentioned a recall petition against M. Blake when he (McLean) was running for the county commission seat. Turns out that McLean supporters in Winter Springs were behind the recall attempt.
ReplyDeleteMcLean ran on the platform of "No New Taxes," "Roll Back the Millage Rate," & "Lighten the Tax Burden on Homeowners." Yet, on September 9, 2009, McLean tried to push the millage to 5.11, the highest rate proposed! On the same night, he tried to get the stormwater tax approved, but was forced to accept defeat. And get this, he approved the highest county worker health care proposal, and voted to give county workers a free health clinic & prescriptions, again, the highest of the clinic proposals! Guess who pushed the clinic idea? None other than ex county commissioner Daryl McClain! And guess who McLean's big supporters are?? The Daryl & Larry show! Yessir, McClain & Dale are putting on a big dinner for McLean at Larry's house.
Petition for recall?? Print it up, we, the taxpayer, can get rid of one slimeball at a time.
